This is a 72” diameter 90 degree elbow. Tunnels require massive infrastructure networks to handle air quality and water runoff. Pipe elbows are critical components of these systems. Many tunnels utilize angled, sloping ventilation elbow shafts to safely redirect hazardous smoke and exhaust from the tunnel core to the surface.

There is a project happening in the Hudson River tunnel. We fabricated this elbow to deliver to the construction workers so they can take care of their safety along with getting the job done.
